Abstract
Feminist criticism of the works written by women, with the aim of finding out which of the gender stereotypes women pointed to, how they explained their economic and social status, and what reactions they showed to the category of gender, had good results and in Many articles have been written about this. Because women in two types of their writings; In other words, the letters and diaries mostly deal with feminist issues. In this article, the diaries of Sardar Maryam Bakhtiari (1290-1353 A.H.) have been reviewed and analyzed using the method of content analysis with a descriptive-analytical approach, and finally it has been determined that Bibi Maryam as An informed and progressive woman, distinguished between sex and gender and stubbornly fought against gender stereotypes and showed that the rights of Iranian women, especially Bakhtiari women, were lost in her era. The inheritance did not reach them; They did not have the right to divorce. They were not free to choose their husbands, and in many cases, they were compromised so that their fathers could rule better. In the memoirs of Bibi Maryam, the economic situation of women and their illiteracy have been mentioned many times and it has been shown that men have taken advantage of their illiteracy and imposed a kind of double exploitation on them.
