This study, entitled A Review of the Literary Life, Biography, and Poetry of Beyzai Junaqani, examines the life, works, and literary status of Beyzai Junaqani, a poet of the Qajar era. The research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method based on library resources. Its main objective is to introduce Beyzai’s life and works and to analyze the characteristics of his poetry within the framework of the Literary Return Movement (Bazgasht-e Adabi). Mirza Mohammad Qasem Khan Beyza was born in Junaqan in 1250 AH. In literary sources, he is known as Beyzai Junaqani, Beyzai Chaharmahali, and Beyzai Esfahani, while the pen name "Beyza" appears in most of his ghazals. His works include qasidas and ghazals, and he also composed mathnavi and rubai poetry. His poetry shows that he belonged to the Literary Return Movement and was influenced by the Isfahan School during the Qajar period. In ghazal writing, he was influenced by Hafez, Saadi, and Foroughi Bastami, while in qasida writing he was inspired by Sanai, Moezzi, Khaqani, and Qaani. Thematically, Beyza’s poetry can be divided into three categories: praise of prominent figures, didactic themes, and love and mysticism. The findings indicate that he was a notable literary figure of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries AH. Studying his life and works helps better understand Qajar literature and the Literary Return Movement. The loss of his divan caused his relative obscurity and limited academic attention; therefore, this study introduces and evaluates this lesser-known poet.
